SMP AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

These SMP Aftercare Instructions are STRONGLY recommended. Following these guidelines can make or break the longevity of your new procedure.

Keep the treated area clean and dry for at least 24 hours after the procedure. Avoid showering, sweating, or swimming during this time.

After 24 hours, gently wash the treated area with a mild, unscented shampoo and pat dry. Avoid scrubbing, rubbing or exfoliating the treated area.

Avoid exposing the treated area to direct sunlight or extreme heat for at least one week after the procedure. If you must be outside, use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher to protect the treated area.

Avoid picking at or scratching the treated area, as this can cause the pigment to fade or become uneven.

Avoid using harsh or abrasive products on the treated area, including exfoliants, retinoids, and alcohol-based toners.

Avoid applying makeup or any other products to the treated area, except for A&D, for at least one week after the procedure.
